My House AFTER the decorator...

I rescued a few things before I took the photos, so she didn't leave it JUST like this. The smaller couch pillows were in the guest room, stacked on the floor under the window or on the bed. My Ott light came back out because I wanted to use it. (I do put it in the coat closet when people are coming to look at the house.) I swapped the lamps in the living room because she put the 60-watt only one next to where I want to sit and read and put the 3-way next to the bathroom. I can't switch the bulbs (I tried) because of the shades and harps; the 3-way bulb doesn't fit in the other harp.)

Anybody recognize anything here?

OK, so I left the tape out. Sheesh!

OK, so I added four pillows back and the Ott light. My heart-shaped embroidery box is coming back from the guest room and you can just see the edge of the wastebasket by the Ott light. She had it next to my sewing desk where it wouldn't do me any good at all.

I mean, I know that the point is to make the house cute and salable but in the meantime, it has to be livable for me too. Right now, I don't even want to go into the living room. but I can't spend my entire life sitting here in front of the computer, so it has to change. I don;t know if I'll let her back to do the bookcases. I have WAY too many books. :( Which tells me she doesn't read. Why am I not surprised? Half of them are upside down, and they're arranged now by color and size rather than by subject.
