My name is Jasper and I live with my Marilyn on top of Crow Hill in the little town of Bailey, Colorado. I like living here better than I liked it in Ohio where we used to live. Ohio is either hot and humid or cold and humid, but it is nice and cool here all year 'round. And there aren't any fleas. Get it? NO FLEAS!!! And plenty of nice, tasty snow!

I get to go visit my Nana in Pittsburgh sometimes.  She always wants me to stay there with her, but I have to look out for Marilyn.  Nana has Skipper there all the time anyway (he jumps all over people and acts like a cat).  My Marilyn feeds me and used to take me to see Dawn, my groomer. They both like these stupid bandannas they put on me. Dawn moved though :( and now I don't have to wear the bandanna but I don't look quite as pretty as when she was around. Man, I need a haircut!

This year, she took me to Arizona. I like the cool tile floors there sometimes but they are kind of hard when you aren't allowed on the furniture. But I found a nice, quiet room where I can lay, so I'm cool. There's a comfy rug under a table that's nice too. At least nobody steps on me there. The only game I can find in Arizona are birds. They want to sit in the bougainvillea and I just don't allow it! Dan's pretty nice. He sneaks me extra treats. :)

I like to chase elk out of the driveway and to chase deer anywhere. The dumb German Shepherd that used to live next door kept chasing skunks. It makes her stink and her people get soooo mad at her for doing it. Big game are lots more fun, but you have to look harder to find them. She moved and now my girlfriend, Daisy, lives there. We like to run around a lot.  Daisy has a bandanna now too. Of course, Marilyn gets mad when I am too busy hunting to come home right away. She stands there on the deck and yells my name over and over like some idiot. Doesn't she understand what a busy dog I am? Sometimes I make her chase me in the Jeep. I can't do that too often though because it makes her really upset with me.
